Part one — the show

YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR STAGE.
ABSOLUTE CHAOS.

Nobody remembers the speeches. They remember the moment the CFO conducted an invisible orchestra.

Where the show works

ONE SHOW. THREE VERY
DIFFERENT ROOMS.

The format flexes to the room, the run sheet and the audience in it — a conference crowd, a cruise theatre and a 40th birthday each get a different version.

Corporate & gala

THE ONE THING NOBODY SKIPS.

Conferences, awards nights, gala dinners and Christmas parties. Clean, inclusive, brand-safe comedy where your team ends up as the entertainment — and the room finally relaxes.

The bit every booker asks about

NOBODY GETS
HUMILIATED. EVER.

The fastest way to ruin a hypnosis show is to make the volunteers the butt of the joke. Phoenix built the show the other way round — the audience laughs with the people on stage, and every volunteer comes back to their table a legend.

01 — They choose themselves

Volunteers, never victims

Nobody is dragged up. Hands go up, people come forward, and anyone who would rather sit back down can do exactly that at any point in the show.

02 — Clean by design

Safe for the boss and the in-laws

No crude gags, nothing anyone would be uncomfortable seeing a colleague do, and nothing that would land badly in a photo the next morning.

03 — Always in control

Hypnosis isn’t mind control

Volunteers stay aware the whole time and can’t be made to do anything they’d genuinely refuse to do. They’re playing along, brilliantly, and they know it.

It is a rare gift to see a show man on the stage who is asking for audience participation without making them look like a fool so he looks better himself.

Hypnotherapy · Sydney

A QUIET HOUR IN A COMFORTABLE CHAIR.

Nothing about a one-to-one session resembles the stage show. You sit down, fully clothed, and are guided into a relaxed, focused state — the same everyday state you drop into when a film pulls you in or you drive a familiar road on autopilot.

You stay awake. You stay aware. You can hear everything, you remember it afterwards, and you can open your eyes and stop at any moment. Hypnosis isn’t sleep and it isn’t mind control — it’s focused attention, and you’re the one doing the work.

Smoking

The most common reason people get in touch — usually after trying several other things first.

Eating habits

Snacking patterns, portion habits and the automatic reach — the behaviour, not the scales.

Confidence & nerves

Public speaking, interviews, performance and the moments where nerves get in first.

Stress & winding down

Learning to switch off — including simple self-hypnosis you can use on your own afterwards.

Straight answers

WHAT HYPNOTHERAPY IS —
AND WHAT IT ISN’T.

  • You stay in controlYou can’t be made to do or say anything you’d genuinely refuse to. You can stop the session, open your eyes, or change your mind at any point.
  • No guarantees, from anyonePeople respond differently and nobody can promise an outcome. If someone guarantees you a result, be sceptical — of them, and of us.
  • It is not medical treatmentHypnotherapy is a complementary approach. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or cure medical or psychological conditions, and it isn’t a substitute for care from your doctor.
  • Talk to your GPFor anything medical or mental-health related, start with your doctor. Hypnotherapy can sit alongside that care — it shouldn’t replace it, and Phoenix will say so.

Nothing on this page is medical advice, and no claim is made that hypnotherapy will treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you are under the care of a health practitioner, please talk to them before starting anything new.

“I was lucky enough to meet Phoenix after one of his AMAZING shows on-board the Carnival Spirit. I was curious about hypnosis & the power of the mind & we spoke about a few issues I had growing up. Phoenix asked if I would allow him to hypnotize me which I gladly accepted. When he had finished, I felt light and no weight on my shoulders, since then I have placed myself into situations that I ‘normally’ would not cope too well with, with no problems what so ever, this is simply the best I have felt in a long time. Thank you Phoenix for sparing your time to allow me have a better life, you are an amazing person.”

Good questions

THE DETAIL, MADE CLEAR.

About the show
No. Volunteers put their own hands up, they can return to their seat at any moment, and the comedy is written so the volunteers come off as the heroes of the night. Nothing crude, nothing at anyone’s expense, and nothing that would embarrass someone in front of colleagues or family.
It hasn’t happened yet. The opening of the show is built to warm a room up and make volunteering the fun option rather than the brave one — in a typical show far more people come up than there are chairs on stage.
No. Hypnosis needs the participant’s cooperation. Nobody can be made to do something they would genuinely refuse to do, on stage or in a session, and volunteers stay aware of what’s happening throughout.
Usually 45 to 60 minutes. Phoenix needs a stage or clear performance area, chairs for the volunteers, a microphone, and enough light on the stage that the audience can see faces — that last one matters more than people expect. Full technical requirements are supplied once the booking is confirmed.
Yes. The material is clean, inclusive and brand-safe, and the show is tailored to the room — a conference audience, a gala dinner and a cruise theatre each get a different version.
Constantly. Sydney is home and the shows run all over Australia and internationally, including more than a thousand performances at sea. Travel and logistics are handled as part of the booking.
About hypnotherapy
Mostly it’s a conversation. You sit in a comfortable chair, fully clothed, and are guided into a relaxed and focused state. You stay awake, aware and in control the whole time, you’ll remember it afterwards, and you can open your eyes and stop whenever you want.
No — and anyone who tells you otherwise should be treated with caution. People respond differently and no outcome can be guaranteed. Hypnotherapy is a complementary approach: it doesn’t diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions, and it isn’t a substitute for advice from your doctor.
No. You’re not asleep and you’re not under anyone’s command — you stay aware and you can stop at any point. The stage show works because volunteers are willing participants having fun, and a private session works the same way, minus the audience.
It depends entirely on the person and what they want to work on, so nobody can honestly answer that before meeting you. Phoenix will give you a straight view after the first conversation, including if he thinks hypnotherapy isn’t the right fit.
In person, in Sydney. Send an enquiry through the form above and Phoenix will come back to you with availability and location.
Yes. What’s discussed in a session stays between you and Phoenix. The enquiry form is deliberately minimal so you don’t have to put anything sensitive in writing before you’ve even spoken to him.
